This is a vehicle that stirs up emotions.
The Fiat Multipla of the fire truck world.
You can like it and find it beautiful, or you can call it a half-finished iguana (that’s what the ULFs were called).

Technically, it’s a unique option for those interested in ExMo conversions, campers, and fire trucks.

The vehicle, with a curb weight of 18.8 metric tons and a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 35.3 metric tons, rolled off the Mercedes assembly line as a 4x4 and was fitted with a steering axle at the front and rear. That’s why there are switches in the cabin for the longitudinal and transverse differentials. (Since we often get questions about the axle configuration.)



For camping enthusiasts:
>The vehicle is registered with a top speed of 107 km/h and has correspondingly long differential ratios.
>V8 with 14.618 l displacement and 350 PS (is identical in construction to the 480 PS version with a larger turbo and can easily be upgraded for more power)

Any 1124 / MAN 12.232 or Iveco EuroFire conversion will be the envy of others here, as no other vehicle surpasses this one in terms of driving performance, space, and understated elegance.
